Foundation & Genetics
Females We’re Building Around
Our program combines long-established maternal families with selected show and breeding genetics. These females are being developed not only for the ring, but for the cow herd behind Bar JM.
Mama
Roberti Angus × Wulf Limousin. Mama traces to a cow Jillian owned for 18 years and anchors one of our oldest retained maternal families.
Harper
Roberti Angus × COLE Limousin. Harper’s dam was a sister to the 18-year foundation cow behind Mama’s family.
Cookie
Roberti Angus × Gelbvieh/Simmental. Her dam remained in the Rafter C5 herd for more than 15 years, and our family also owned her granddam.
Willow
Simmental × Here I Am. Supreme Champion Female in 2025 and retained as part of the future breeding herd.
Miss Kitty & Dahlia
Maternal family: Mama. Miss Kitty is an Angus/Limousin daughter of Mama; Dahlia is Angus × Mama, continuing that long-held cow family.
Tulip
NR Tina (Charolais) × Six Mile Private Stock (Red Angus). A show female selected to carry forward into the breeding program.
Tammy
NR Tina × Cashin’ Checks. Paternal sister to No-No, our 2026 Grand Champion Market Steer. Tammy has already earned Reserve Champion Charolais and multiple top-three finishes.
Jessy’s Girl
HOOS Addiction × Pure Reflection. Grand Champion Female at the 2026 Smith Valley Breeders Cup and 3rd Overall AOB Female in both Shows A & B at Battle of the States.
Misty
Charolais • Smokin’ Bob × Told Ya So genetics. A future foundation female and 3rd Overall Market Heifer, Show A, at the 2026 Battle of the States Showdown.
Purposeful matings: We select sires to complement each female. Recent breeding decisions have incorporated HBL and 44 Farms Angus genetics, with future matings and calf crops to be added as the program develops.
